Which camp should I register for?
What's the best camp for my athlete?
Our goal is for our camps to truly be the best volleyball camp experience ever for all athletes. We do our best to group campers into courts based on age, years of experience, skill, and, when we can, friends/roommate preferences with the hope that no matter which camp your athlete attends, they are able to be challenged and grow their skills at the level that is best for them.
We generally recommend the College Experience and Elite Skills camps for athletes who have an interest in playing volleyball at the collegiate level. Both camps are open for athletes beginning in the 7th grade; However, these camps are best suited for athletes with multiple years of volleyball experience at the school and/or club level, know what position(s) they play, and have mastered basic volleyball skills (overhand serving, attacking using a three-step approach, and passing to a target).
All Skills and Position Skills camps are fantastic camps for athletes with less experience or have not mastered the basic skills listed above. These camps cover the basics and introduce high level skills with the proper technique. Campers will walk away from these camps feeling empowered and armed with new skills! Both the All Skills and Position Skills camps are also led by our Baylor Volleyball coaching staff and athletes and offer the same attention to detail and engaging environment!
The biggest difference between the Position Skills and All Skills camps is that in the Position Skills camp, athletes are separated onto courts based on their volleyball position, pin hitter (outside/right-side), setter, defensive specialist/libero, or middle hitter.
